It looks like Simon's Miller Hill Mall rolled out a fabulous red carpet event for Duluth's children and families last weekend. Special thanks to Machelle Kendrick, Director of Business Development and Marketing for Miller Hill Mall for letting us be a part of the finale of their series of literacy events supporting the Duluth Library Foundation's 25th Anniversary. And thanks for sharing these heartwarming images of the day. KQDS Fox 21 anchor Dan Hanger hosted the event, along with his famous canine companion, Brewster and Duluth Mayor Don Ness made a special appearance.
We hope all the parents out there encourage their children to read this summer and definitely hit up Barnes & Noble in the Miller Hill Mall along with other local booksellers in the area to keep the next generation bright and curious.
