Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Laurie Drake developed a passion for vintage furnishings in the 1980s. Her beautiful, nostalgic, elegant, and colourful restorations and finds of vintage mid-century furnishings and accessories, including lighting and art helps fulfill her passion for helping people design and create artistic living spaces.
We can’t tell you how much we love this. Well, maybe we can. But, words wouldn’t do justice to the materials that are as aesthetically pleasing as they are affordable. It’s almost like Laurie is giving this stuff away when you look at the price tag. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and the whole philosophy of Vintage Modern Living fits with Laurie’s desire to help bring about sustainable living by reusing what beauty already exists. In addition to restoring and selling furniture and accent pieces, Laurie consults with individuals about their interior design choices.
